We Say Farewell To An Old Friend & An All Star Valet

Published

I remember when John O’Connor came rolling up to our offices 8 years ago looking for a job. He was referred by a close employee and had all the characteristics to be a Five Star Valet Attendant. It wasn’t long before I knew that I had an all star valet on my hands and after time a good friend. In the business I am in it is hard to find employees that will go above and beyond without asking. John adapted to every situation and treated every guest like family. His up beat personality was contagious and leadership skills made every event that much easier. Eight years came and went in a flash and as I sit here and reflect on the 100’s of jobs we did together it gives me a bitter sweet taste. I am bitter due to the fact of knowing John isn’t in the field hustling for every car and keeping all employees striving for perfection. Sweet…knowing that John has now started on his own path maintaining the rail roads in IL and once again making sure people are being looked after.

John you will be missed and I just wanted to personally thank you for all the years of service. I have such wonderful memories from our journeys and can truly say you made my life easy!! Love Ya Old Friend!!
